Thirty years of residential design excellence
After graduating from the New Jersey Institute of Technology, Albert Martorano worked with Ms. Eleanore Pettersen, a renowned female architect and the first ever licensed in the state of New Jersey. Ms. Petterson was an apprentice of the famous American architect, Frank Lloyd Wright. Her firm was well known and respected for creative designs and personalized service. During Albert’s twelve years with the Pettersen firm, he was intimately involved with the design and construction of detailed homes for discerning clients. The experience and knowledge gained enabled Albert to work with various contractions and craftsmen and skillfully interpret the needs of a variety of homeowners. Much effort was spent refining his ability to balance the creative and artistic elements of architecture with the practicality of daily life. Once Ms. Pettersen retired, Al founded his own architectural practice dedicated to the design of single family residences here in New Jersey.
